Tree of HopeThe Tree of Hope is a symbol of endurance of life throughout all seasons. In the fall the tree is stripped bare as life in the tree ebbs away. The tree endures the stark cold of winter and emerges with new life each spring. Once renewed, it bares fruit in the warmth of the summer. The Tree of Hope stands as nature’s reminder that there is always hope that life will proceed even when we feel so uncertain. As we embark on the journey of grief with the loss of a loved one, we too go through the cold desolation of winter and still progress as the upcoming seasons bring hope. The Tree of Hope is a memorial, a place of remembrance for all family and friends that have moved on from this earth, free from their days of disease. Just as our patients need guidance to their resting place, our families too, may need guidance to truly heal through the grieving process. Memorial services are conducted annually at the Tree of Hope to observe the lives of all Hope Hospice patients.
